This is a ponified version of something that happened to me a couple years ago. See, for my high school senior trip, we went to some resort upstate or something. While there, I found a coolio pony thing (I called it a Kirin since it reminded me of the Kirin from Monster hunter.) in a crane machine. Blinded by my desire to win the damn thing, I spent almost $5 worth of quarters trying to get my hands on the damn thing. I never got it. This, is how my bestie found me a few minutes later, clinging to the crane machine demanding it give me my Kirin. There were probably other people around but I didn't care.
