Clover looks over the photo more closely. Yep, that's him alright. Her abusive step father, very hard to miss. She didn't have anything positive to say about him. But should she tell Skillet? That she knows where he is, and how far he has fallen? For now, she decides to ask other questions, and come back to it later (or perhaps, never).

Clover wants to know more about Vee. Does she sell hats?

"Well, no. Vee doesn't sell hats. Vee is a witch, and a powerful one at that. She sells all sorts of things, from enchanted bracelets to healing potions, she has just about everything you could want. She even has some amazing things that she only sells at the Carnival of Ages. She enchants little white handkerchiefs to float about like ghosts, that you can buy and keep as a pet for a week or two before the magic wears off. And she makes these amazing bobbles that can roll on anything, from the walls to the roof of your house. Flick 'em with your hoof and they'll roll up a castle! She's also a bit of a seer, but I wouldn't rely on her for anything too accurate. You have to see her cart on the day of the Festival, it's amazing."

"She also has a penchant for "borrowing" hats. Really, she just takes them off of ponies' heads and sticks them on her own. And she's hard to interact with because… well, she's weird. In a good way. It's hard to explain, and I don't think I can. You'd have to meet her yourself."

Clover decides to let on that she's met Hammer before.

"Eh? Wouldn't be too surprised… he's been around a bit. When's the last time you saw him?"

Around the time you left home.

"Oh? I bet he was a friend of that mean step dad of yours. From what I heard, that asshole sounded like a drunk, and I can definitely see him being friends with Hammer, since Hammer likes to hit the bottle too. Did he visit your house often?"

You can say that. Anyway… why don't you hide your photos somewhere else?

"The photos are safe in the pillow. If I hide them in a box, and we lose a battle, well, now my family is at risk because of me. The most they'll do with a pillow is burn it with the rest of the excess cargo. And it's not like Shanty is going to ruin the photos with her cum, it's just disgusting really. To be entirely fair, it wasn't even my idea to bring these pictures. Silverwind just said that I might want to bring something to remember my family, sooo…" she waves her hoof around "you get the rest."

Why not have sex on HER pillow?

"You're a little pervert, aren't you? Though I can't blame you. You're hanging around with me, after all! Ha!" She smiles, a bit more genuine on this attempt. "But that's not my thing. I'm not looking for romance of any sort. Good try, though."

With little else to ask, Skillet kicks back.

"Eh, I think it's time for me to make breakfast. It may be a little early, but nearly everyone is up as it is, sooo… might as well get going. I think the rain has stopped, and the sun should be breaking in about an hour. I don't know what you can do in the meantime, so maybe you should ask around. Or maybe grab that neat new bow of yours and give it some practice?"

Skillet stands up, stretching as she grabs her pictures (including the one in Clover's hoof) and stuffs them back into the pillow, inside the cotton. She slings it over her back, shuffling some boxes around until she finds a good spot to put it, before shoving it back into place.

"If Shanty asks, I put it in the cargo hold somewhere."

Welp, now what will Clover do? Should she wait it out, or find someone to talk to?
