Sweetie Belle is Rarity’s little sister. She is a talented Songstress, but you’d never get that by simply asking her. Sweetie Belle is incredibly modest about her singing abilities. This is to be expected since she downplays her own talents in the shadows of her professional older sister. She’s still very hard working in her own right. The young Unicorn’s magicks leave a bit to be desired in terms of raw powers, but her abilities begin to manifest in tandem with her voice. She’s able to hold a bane or a boon by singing songs enchanted with her singing. The better her singing, the better the magick will hold on. Her spells have more staying power since they’re powered by her voice. This means while she’s singing, its very difficult to dispell whatever banes and boons placed on her targets.

She works often with her friends from school as Cutie Mark Crusader to help others find their place in the world. It may seem strange for somepony so young to help others find direction, but its only natural they do since they spend so long helping tirelessly helping each other find their way. Of the three of them, Sweetie Belle is the most grounded. She lets her pals go about their delusions, but stops them before they go beyond what's known to be possible. The unicorn is the first to turn to others outside their circle for help. She’s not afraid to ask for help from those who know better.

Sweetie Belle lives with Rarity in her home and place of business. Like Apple Bloom, she also tends to get into trouble due to her eagerness to please her sister. However, these two have a very strange dynamic about them. Rarity’s vanity can cause her to overlook her own sister’s feelings, and Sweetie Belle’s insecurities lead her to doubt those who care about her, most often her sister. They often butt heads since they both can have some cumbersome personality traits, but every time they do, they always come back closer than ever. Despite this, they can indeed get a bit catty with each other to everyone else’s annoyance..


Lunar Mic — Princess Luna was floored with just how beautiful Sweetie Belle’s voice was. So much so that she fell silent, but it turned out that it was an effect of her spell. After understanding the extent of her magicks, she bestowed a mic to Sweetie Belle to augment the distance her voice and her debuffs travel. She had a holster custom made by her sister for when she doesn’t need it.

Diamond Choker — A long fight with Rarity that ran on for the better part of a week almost ruined their relationship completely. However, after a dream conversation with Princess Luna, they were able to patch things up before they irreparable. Rarity gave her this choker as an apology, and while they get along as well as sisters can, they know that no matter how mad they get, there’s still love.
