Those who know Pinkie Pie would describe her as a the most happy being this side of the Milky Way. Nothing could ever stop her stride if it meant making a smile on someone’s face. Those who really knew Pinkie Pie would tell you just that same, except that she has a rather quiet side as well. Her moments of quiet, uncharacteristic self-reflection are spent staring listlessly at the starry sky. Her friends and fellow Warriors wrote it off as one of the things she just does time to time. Consistency was not her strong suit.
Pinkie Pie may have an outward cheerful appearance, but deep in her heart is sorrow that she can’t seem to let go of. Her guilt of leaving her family behind gnaws at her from time to time, and even after reconciling with her family after years of separation, she occasionally feels the weight of her actions bear down on her. Pinkie dealt with her feelings by passing on happiness to others. After all, how can anyone be sad and lonely if everyone’s having a good time.
After the Changeling replacements had been taken care of, and Princess Luna had started her treatment, The Warriors took to the streets of the major cities to do a sweep one last time for any straggling changelings who decided against joining Thorax. When they got to Manehattan, they found what they were looking for: Pinkie Pie. Not THE Pinkie Pie, A Pinkie Pie. A double. Her hair may have been flattened, but they all noticed the face as well as a similar cutie mark. They followed her for a confrontation, but when they did meet up, they quickly realized that she was actually not a changeling due to the anti-disguise potion the Alchemist made. This Pinkie Pie was a true doppelganger, a straggler from a long since cast duplication spell Pinkie had placed on herself. They had disposed of what they believed were all of them, but looking them back in the eyes was proof they weren’t thorough enough.
The original tried to speak with the clone, but before she got a work in edgewise, the clone simply asked cryptically if she’s yet to open up to her allies. The duplicate walked away, leaving Pinkie in a cold sweat at such a piercing question. Since she wasn’t a Changeling, the Warriors agreed to leave it at that for now, but would have a talk with the very shaken Pinkie.
It was a few days later that Pinkie Pie herself received a letter from her other self, asking to meet her and the rest of her group where she was born: the Mirror Pool. When the arrived, Pinkie proper and the group saw a straight haired Pinkie juggling what seemed to be hoops in a jester costume. When they reached talking distance, she asked again if she’s opened up. She continued her question asking if she had forgiven herself or even once asked if her sisters forgave her. Shocking her friends, the original Pinkie lashed out against her clone, beginning their battle, but not before the Warriors noticing that Pinkie’s hair was slightly deflated for a great part of the battle.
The Doppelganger fights as a Juggler, making use of toys and tricks to damage and enfeeble those that opposed her. Those chakrams she juggled were just part of her arsenal, throwing them to slice and dice before boomeranging back to her. She likes to use a set of 3 being juggled as to keep her distracted lest she find herself getting lost in her thoughts in the middle of a fight.
Tricolor Chakram — A set of Chakrams representing Fire, Ice, and Thunder. Pinkamena already had a natural talent for juggling since she was made, but once she got to the city, she was able to earn a little gil on the side being a street performer. Since she had no home, she learned to weaponize her talents. One of the first things she purchased were a set of bladed Chakrams she could use as props in the day and tools for self defense at night.
Jester’s Garb — Clothes often worn by street performers like herself. Her first one was made herself, and looked very ratty. She never complained since she was still getting income from her performance. After confronting her true self, she was able to make the original finally face her feelings. She felt that that’s why she still walked the earth, but Pinkie convinced her otherwise. Pinkamena was asked to stay and help so she could find her own life on the way, and as a sign of solidarity, received her current Jester’s Garb from Rarity (whom secretly wished it would make her rather gloomy personality cheer up more).
