"Seriously though, this movie has a suffocating gothic atmosphere, its really well paced and the characters are really interesting. It caught me from begining to end and it didnt pull any cheap tricks like jump scares, cascades of gore or cheesy monster effects. Its a ghost story thats all about how our fears and insecurities control us.
Now, there is something I wonder. The question specified it as 1963. Does this mean there are sequels of it? Or other versions of the same story? Im curious now."
