In a 4chan thread, someone joked that twilight would ascend to double-princess during the movie. Somebody then posted a tentacled, winged monstrosity composed of an edited screenshot of Twilight, and I was inspired to draw Twilight in her "final form" based the last boss of Final Fantasy 6. I figure the friendship song she sings to get to this point probably takes up most of the movie's run time.
