Super positive, bouncy, sassy and full of personality, Sugar is definitely the daughter of Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich. She's comes across a bit scattered brained but she's actually quite intelligent (she has photographic memory) and she managed finished school at a young age. She inherited both her parents manic energy but uses it in a more constructive way and knows when to reign it in. Like her mother, Sugar is friends with everyone and loves to make new friends. And she adores her Aunt Maud. She has a real knack for problem solving and enjoys all kinds of puzzles. She's well known for her determination. She won't give up until her goal is achieved no matter how long it takes.

Sugar was the last one of her friends to get her cutie mark. Being the daughter of the two most famous party ponies in Equestria, Sugar thought her special talent was in party planning like her parents and she became an expert party planner. She even became a quite a good baker like her mom and works with the Cakes. Sugar even went to work on her grandparents rock farm and often joined Maud on some of her rock research trips in hopes of discovering her special talent. Even with the help of her friends, she tried out quite a lot of other things in hopes of finding her cutie mark but alas no go.

She finally did get her cutie mark when she and her friends were watching Storm trying out some crazy stunts. He ended up crashing into a tree while trying to weave through them and hurt his wing. Sugar inspected his wing and wrapped it in splint using Sunny's bandana. Then low and behold, her cutie mark appeared.

So you can imagine her surprise, along with everyone else in Ponyville when she finally did get her cutie mark. Everyone expected her to follow in her parents hoofsteps and become a party planner/baker. Not that Pinkie and Cheese minded of course, they were beyond proud of their little filly.

Nurse Redheart decided to take Sugar under her wing and thought her all about being a doctor. When she got a bit older Sugar went to college to become a full fledged doctor and graduated at the top of her class at the age of 20. (She becomes the Patch Adams of the ponyverse)
