Back in the MLP’s equivalent to the Roaring 20s, Imago the changeling was married for about 10 years to a powerful mobster in Manehatten by the name of Hotsy Trotsy. Chrysalis had made a deal with the crime lord where he provides her and her hive with information they desire, and she was “dispose” of any ponies that Mr Trotsy felt were in his way. Imago was there as a insurance to make sure that Mr Trotsy kept up his end of the bargain, under the alias of a flapper, Klara Kisser.

Let’s just say that Mr Trotsy ended up backing out of the deal and loose ends were cleaned up.
