This is still more artwork for Nightfall in Equestria (my custom pony-themed Magic the Gathering block).

BACKSTORY!!! The Ascendant Pentarch are the five Alicorn gods that rule the plane of Equestria. I thought it only
fitting that Lauren Faust's OC should be a member. Lauren, Author of Worlds, is the patron goddess of light, life,
and creation. She presides over weddings and births, and is honored in some fashion by all the pony races. She is,
for obvious reasons, white-aligned, and as such her temples are clad in marble and alabaster, the better to reflect
the light of the sun. Her signature item is her celestial great sword, which according to legend can smite any
location in Equestria and can return any physical object to the dreamworld from whence it was summoned,
releasing said object's form in a concentrated burst of pure life energy. Its name is Polaris, Sword of the Word.
