From a scene in "Vengeance, Thy Name is Apples", in which Applejack appears to stop Discord and Fluttershy. In this short, she serves Black Appul (the leader of the Appul armies invading Equestria), but turns against Black Appul to destroy him and his armies. Even though she was later killed in the fight against Black Appul, she was restored for another adventure.
