So this one had a lot of effort put into it..

I have this thing, where I get annoyed when people make ponies do human things, when it really wouldn't work that way. Like swords shouldn't exist in the pony world. It's impossible for earth ponies or pegasi to wield them, because if they hold them in their mouths, they can't get enough force behind the blows to do any damage (and it would just fall out of their mouths anyway). And strapping it to their hoofs is just impossible. Earth Ponies would have to walk on their rear hooves, which they can't do for long. Pegasi could possibly do it if they were airborne the entire time, but even that would be awkward because of the way their body is built; with the wings on the back. They can't fly with their bodies upright like how we stand, so they wouldn't have the right position for fencing. The only pony that could sword fight would be the unicorn because they can use magic to hold the sword. But realistically a swordfight between unicorns would be two ponies just standing there with weapons flailing around in front of them. They could be having the battle in arm chairs! And that's boring.

So, I thought; what would fencing realistically be like in the pony world. Well since swords don't exist, unicorns already have the closest thing to a sword on their heads, so they would probably use their magic to make an even bigger version of their horns and fight that way. And they can do all the moves a sword can! Parry/block/LUNGE, imagine it. And just like a sword, they have their own version of a hilt to protect their heads. Unicorns probably fight like other animals that have horns/antlers; by using their heads.
