Just some practicing while I'm seeing the best course to continue the comic project.
Originally I've planned to post each drawing individually, but to make things a little more practical, I've decided to post all the variants in a single drawing.
From left to right we have:
*Blue sketch
*Lineart only
*Lineart + filters
*Vintage comic (base colors + filters)
*Modern colors
And yet another drawing of Granny Smith in her glory days, just being the bad girl she is in the comic project I'm working in.
Aside of practicing my inking techniques, studying more about the vintage comics style, and working in Ms. Smith's style (with braids longer than she could currently), I've also been practicing some painting techniques. You can tell this by the variant of the right.
While painting it, I was inspired by the colored manga pages of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. The color techniques and Hirohiko Araki's styles were just made for each other.
Of course, I'm just a drawing enthusiast, it will take ages to be good enough to draw decent artworks, but people like Araki are just rare.
Well, in any case, I really hope you enjoy the drawing and variants.
