You know, pencil is the medium I have the most experience in. Partly because my teachers would have noticed if I'd set up watercolors during class. Here's my first attempt to draw my three G1 ponies with their peculiar-to-G1 traits. I ignored the G1 cartoon flutter wing design in favor of the wings the toy originally had. Buzzer's massive Summer Wings were the hardest part. I ended up holding the toy in one hand while I sketched with the other. In case you can't make it out, the symbol on Morning Glory's cheek is a morning glory bud.And this picture pretty much sums up the personalities I gave them when I was small. Vague and ill-defined as they were, but hey, I was seven. Done on printer paper with a Ticonderoga pencil, cleaned up in Paint.net.ETA: Since several people have asked, these ponies are, left to right: Starshine, Morning Glory, and Buzzer.
