Well, I don't think it's as good as the Rarity one. But it's more practice I suppose.
One of the problem I'f found with using Toned Tan paper, is that when I go to color it, getting super light colors is next to impossible, unless I place them in layer above my sketch. That's fine, but it adds tons of time to my drawing, and makes the colors look rather odd in the end. I was fighting against the color of the paper the whole time while working on this.
On the other hand, I need to not darken my pencil shading as much. This sketch obviously was made without coloring in mind, which just made it trickier to color and make it look good at the same time.
Other than that though, I'm pretty happy with this. Those eyes man.
