Not sure if I'll have the short completed before I leave for a trip this week. That and if my hatred for my current job doesn't end in being fired soon…
Siren pods naturally need to go out and sing discourse into a nearby population, that means even mothers have to leave to regain their energy they use to help their pups grow along with physical food. So the Matriarch designates a trusted member of the pack to remain with the sirons guarding their territory and look after the hatchlings. A nanny can be the accurate term for the pup sitter, who sings most of her time away that keeps the younglings under her constant supervision. This is usually the nanny's perfect oppurtunity to test out new tunes she works on in her free time before giving them to the conductor of the pack. Both benefit and the siren young are kept safe and out of danger, it also creates a strong bond within the pack as the little ones learn trust and respect for their elders. Even pup sirons are entranced.
