The sketch for this pic was originally drawn during Season 6's time since Starlight Glimmer WAS promised as a new supporting character. While the episodes she was in were great, I still would have liked to see her hang with the Mane Six more often in episodes that didn't focus on her, especially since the ending of "The Cutie Re-Mark" implied that she was now permanently part of the Mane Six. (At least, that's how I saw it.) Yeah, she made short appearances in "Spice Up Your Life" and "Top Bolt" but excluding her as a background pony for "28 Pranks Later" was just inexcusable. Yeah, it sounds like I'm complaining about something minor and insignificant but with all the hate Starlight is STILL getting, I thought Season 6 would give her a bigger amount of screentime to develop her character and convince others that she can be likable to them. Now with Season 7 right around the corner and that scary rumor about Starlight Glimmer losing her secondary character position in the cast, this drawing became way more relevant.

Please DHX, don't retire poor Glim Glam.
