Both of her Parents were Pegasi but they both had genes of Unicorns. They were living in Canterlot at the time and were surprised that their daughter was a Unicorn. As she grew up she became fascinated with her ability to use magic and was eventually attempted to enroll in Celestia's magic school. She failed the entrance exam and went back to her normal school. After her graduation she went to a normal school for unicorns to perfect their magical abilities. This is where she met her best friend Skittle Sweet. She graduated and attempted a 2nd time to enter Celestia's magic school and entered into the adult classes that were offered there. She is still taking magic classes there as well as helping with Skittle's workshop as the clerk when she isn't busy.Most Unicorns don't have much of an issue with their magical abilities. This goes for Honey Spark as well. Only her magical abilities revolve around the weather. She was born with a blue lightning bolt in her mane and tail prompting the name Honey Spark. This was also a sign that she still had a bit of Pegasus in her. She is great with weather magic and is able to control or destroy clouds like a Pegasus can. She can also create clouds if the day allows for it making finding shade an easy task. She also can produce lightning from her horn which is a spell that not many unicorns can perform. She enjoys working on the weather team during winter wrap up and also helps during different weather events if she is needed.She gained her cutie Mark during a class in extended magic school. During one of her demonstrations she was showing how she can take dust particles and water to create a personal cloud. Out of nowhere something either dropped or someone purposely startled her and she shot lightning out of her horn almost hitting one of her classmates in the front row. After she realized she could conjure lightning from her horn she started practicing it. She went down to the ice archery range and tried to recreate her lightning trick with no luck. after multiple months of trying and studying she finally figured it out and began to use it like a natural ability. She put this ability to use when the power in the school went out as was typical during major storms in the day. She was asked by her teacher to use her lightning spell to try and light up the classroom. She used a large battery and charged it in an instant with a small shock which they plugged a light in lighting up the class. It was one of the first times that she had used the spell and controlled the charge and soon she gained her cutie mark in front of the class.Honey is a bit quirky. She's always smiling and in a good mood and only when something goes absolutely wrong then she breaks her smile. She enjoys interaction with other ponies and will do anything just to hug somepony. She can also be a bit devious as she can play a lot of magical pranks on the ponies around. she always makes sure its a fun prank and not too mean which shows her kind hearted nature. If a prank goes wrong and somepony gets hurt either physically or emotionally, she is the first one to their aid and apologizes nearly 200 times before they leave the ponies side.Honey Spark ©
