Octavia and Vinyl Scratch obviously had opposite interests in music. While Octavia had classical instrumental tunes, Vinyl had electronic and techno beats. The gray earth pony tends to criticize Vinyl’s taste, finding the constant wubs and sounds to be distracting and lackluster in the face of music. Becoming tired of her banter, Vinyl adjusted some of her old headphones so that whatever song plays through them, it’ll create subtle hypnotic sound waves that’ll mind control the listener into a pony who acted based on the song. Vinyl gently places the headphones on Octavia and starts off her playlist, turning the elegant and calm pony into a techno loving party animal. Obviously, Vinyl might turn her back, but that won’t be for a while.
