After a good warm up and practice in the sky, nothing makes Marker Pace more hot blooded than a race against other fast ponies. >XP


Anyway, I've been meaning to update my art style in the way I draw MLP characters and such with a more Shōnen anime approach, while keeping the cartoony vibe that the show has to offer. I decided with giving more detail such as some natural equine anatomy and muscle lines and experimenting with action poses with a radial speed background.
Also, for the record, in case that you're wondering, this isn't an anthro anatomy, it's how I'll draw ponies. Guess I overdid it with the pose I ended up with XD

Asides this, I also needed to refresh my ponysona's design, because the old mane and tail seemed like they could have been so much better and to give more emphasis on my character's "fiery" racer profile. I've made my mane longer and wilder, with more orange highlights that resemble fire wisps, made the tail match the mane in the similar design and redesigned my racing goggles similar to Shotaro Kaneda's. (because I'm just a big otaku in heart x3)

Personally, I'm very proud and happy of how my pony and new art style came out. Now I'd like to hear your opinions Any constructive criticism is welcome.
