Teacher: Okay, up next we have… [groan] Salt Water Taffy.

Taffy: Really, teacher, I wish you would address me a little less formally. I thought grown up ponies preferred calling their pupils by a nickname or short versions of ones name. I personally would prefer to be called Taffy, if you please.

Teacher: Right, sorry, I forgot.

[Taffy uses his magic to drag the giant tarp covered cylinder to he front of class. The teacher looks on, grimacing with concern.]

Random kid: Hey, whatcha got there, Salty? Another creepy experiment?! [Class laughs]

Teacher: Quiet down, all of you! [class quickly goes silent as Taffy reaches the front of the class.] T-Taffy, please tell me its not another… strange thing?

Taffy: Nope, its a wondrous thing, teacher. Behold! Experiment 095! [pulls off tarp to reveal slime monster in a glass cylinder. The class erupts in a panic and the teacher rushes to calm everyone down. Taffy continues smiling, waiting for his applause.]

Teacher: T-Taffy, what is that?!

Taffy: It's a slime, at least that's what I call it. Its mostly water based with a few other things thrown in to keep it in one peice.

Teacher: Why did you bring a living thing to show n' Tell.

Taffy: [pout] Lollipop brought her pet dog!

Teacher: That's not the same!

Taffy: I mean, they're both non-sentient so it shouldn't be a problem! It doesn't even do anything other that seek out producers of warmth and-

Teacher: Taffy, take it out of the classroom. Now!

Taffy: …Fine.

Teacher: And I'll be calling your mothers later.

Taffy: [Snorts] They won't be mad. Mom said I can experiment at my own pace.

Teacher: I doubt this is what they meant.

Teacher person is right. Lyra thought her son was showing interest in their somewhat unorthodox family dynamic and said he can do whatever he likes. "I think he should be allowed to experiment just a bit" was her exact words. Neither realized he took those words literally.

Introducing, Salt Water Taffy, or Taffy as he likes to be called. Those who dislike him (most ponies) call him Salty since he has trouble interacting with other ponies. He's fairly insensitive, a bit up his own ass and has a hard time understanding why his actions lead to folks disliking him. He likes to do experiments, mostly with creating life through science and magic. Mostly, he can make slimes.

Note: He speak with a slight British accent, cause he likes how smart one sounds when doing so. He picked it up after watching Sherlock. He likes Sherlock (he has a crush on him and hates John for stealing his husbando.)
