Rainbow was and is still today kind of a tomboy and Dumbell said a long time ago "I'd had the same feelings for you if you were a stallion" so Rainbow took his words and decided to wear a costume for their wedding, she cuted her hair also to look more boyish.
Dumbell didn't even wanted to complain about it because he knew that RD was the mare of his life.
Their wedding was before they decided to have foals.
