Sabe reiterates to Uganda about the origins of his unique long name. It was passed down through his lineage. He explains that his Father didn't like the name either and that his Grandpappy actually gave him the name. Also that his Grandad was a flaunter of this title. This explains his and his father's attitude about it.
He also looked a bit like a goat. How unusual!
This is one of the first pages I was looking forward to coloring, for it shows a few other characters besides Sabe and Uganda. Sabe's Dad and Grandpa!
I tried my best to show where his genes for his over-all appearance came from, and made slight variation to facial stripes, as well as eye color and hue of the coat. Not to mention the size and curve of the horns. Hope it looks good to you all!
Can't believe I actually colored this mostly with stubs again. I went to the store and literally the only color they didn't have in stock was Dark Umber. So I am REALLY hoping this time tomorrow, when I go to the art store again, they'll have it in stock. Then I'll buy 3 or 4 or maybe 10! Because 1 Dark Umber pencil will only do good for about 4 pages or so until it becomes to short. Here's the hoping then, for I have to color Sabe 3 times in a row tomorrow for the next page!
