Spending half of her life masquerading as three generations of unicorn mares, she rules her hidden empire with an iron fist, manipulating events all over the world, slowly and subtly placing her agents in key positions and roles to increase her own influence and power. She desires total control. However, Helene's impatience for adulthood and use of magic to make herself look older have ironically halted her aging further, keeping her as a filly mentally, magically, and physically despite her having gained her domain.

Several deaths and disappearances can be linked to this spiteful entity, whether they be subordinates that abandoned her, those that have learned too much about her and her intentions, and people that have rejected her 'job offer' — including the father of Applejack, Big Mac, and Apple Bloom, a brilliant engineer that never achieved the recognition he desired…
