For buck's sake, "canon" does not mean "part of the franchise which you, personally, like and agree with and want to include", and calling something which is part of the franchise "non-canon" because you don't like it and want to exclude and delegitimize it just makes you sound like you don't understand the English language. Alternate realities which are part of the same franchise are still part of the same franchise, even if you don't like them.
