Spike didn't know why the girls needed him to be their "waterboy" for their personal workout group. He had suspicions when he saw that their exercises involved a lot of grabbing and grinding and overly tight clothing. However, when they surrounded him halfway through and Rarity teleported his shorts off, their intentions became almost blindingly obvious.
