My take on one of the fandom's classics: the Spike hoodie.

I wanted to make something with Starlight since back when I was finishing editing my original batch of images, but I kept pushing it back once I started working on the 2017 stuff. Keep in mind that the first two projects for the new batch were the Bio-Sphere Shimmer and Fluttershy images, two line arts I had started working on last year but left unfinished do you see a pattern yet?, so I didn't have a proper break after the first eleven images were done. Then I took commissions for a while HUGE mistake on my part, to be honest and I just kinda forgot about poor Starlight…

Until now!!!

The new style of shading I introduced in the RariPearl image was taken one step further in this one. The values in brightness are the same, but I increased the saturation for a more colorful look.

Also, if you pay close attention, you can totally see the exact moment when I got cold feet about adding some texture to the hoodie XP

There were little hearts in this pic. They're gone now…
