ATG DAY 28:Draw a pony at school / Draw a pony bursting with knowledge.
While she isn't necessarily at school, I did imagine her getting excited going to it. And while I'm pretty sure they did show filly Cheerilee at one point of the show. I had some trouble finding it. So, I improvised and tried combining Cheerilee's current design with her Generation 3.5 one. There were some mess-ups with the lineart, buthe I say this came out rather well!"I remember my days at the Ponyville Schoolhouse. In my youthful days as an energetic little filly, I always welcomed the month of September with open hooves! While most fillies around my age were… less than happy to go back to school after vacation, I was different. I always had a passion to learn and to teach other ponies, and goodness it was a wonderful time for me.
I always remember the night before that I packed up my snacks and got my saddlebag ready for the school day. And now thinking back on it, I'm curious as to how I fit so much into such a small pack! Regardless, I was ready for whatever they had for me there. When the time came for me to go, I didn't even wait for my parents! I just ran out the door and went on my merry old way to the school. I remember that I used to take a secret little shortcut past Sweet Apple Acres to get there. The crisp autumn breeze and the scent of apples and leaves in the air had given me this sense of wonder as a foal. And on some days when I caught their attention, one of the members of the Apple family would sneak me one of their ripe apples, and once in a blue moon even a little apple treat!
From there on, I would go through the main street in Ponyville. Ponies were just waking up, and business owners would start opening their up their shops. Even today, not much has changed there aside from ponies who have come and gone for one reason or another. From there, it was only a 5 or so minute walk to the school grounds. And well… it's safe to say that's where all the adventure began. From the students, to what we learned, our teacher Ms. Bright Eyes, and especially recess- every day was different and something new.
And I love every little thing about to this day as I now take that role of teaching my students and giving them more adventures to go on everyday here at the Ponyville Schoolhouse."
