…because stuff just got real.
ANTHEM: Lux, your magic showed up in the corner again
From left to right, your cast of this ATG: Aquamarine, Luna, Skyforge, Anthem, Lux, Bliss, Celestia, Discord, and on top of the locomotive GG and Chief. What a long, strange trip it's been, and what a long trip it's still sure to be.
For the final day, my 101st deviation, a combination of day 1: Pose, technically day 9: Love, day 11: Adventure, day 14: Crossover, and day 29: End. Thank you for sticking with me if you have been, to everybody who's favourited both here and on Derpibooru, and to Equestria Daily for getting me off my behind and back into drawing (again). I'll tell you: even stretching it out over two days, this was not fun. In fact, a couple of hours ago, I ran into some serious trouble — the document was so big that the computer had run out of memory to save it properly. Fortunately everything worked out. The original idea was to make the lineart final in Illustrator, and then pass it back to Photoshop for my old method to allow for better shading, but due to the way Photoshop interpreted the paths that pretty much became impossible. Oh well. Still passed back to Photoshop for the final filters and the sparkles.
I forgot the tuft on the end of Discord's tail. Eh, it's Discord. It's going to be around somewhere.
Fun fact #1: The locomotive is based (loosely) on the 4-6-2 Pacific locomotive "Typhoon" running on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchuch Railway.
Fun fact #2: In this picture, there is one locomotive, two frilled lizards, a draconequus and six ponies.
