Princess Eris Bifröst is the eldest daughter of Celestia and Discord.

Eris is a cheerful, social, organized and intelligent mare, although she is very temperamental and spiteful, besides being somepony easy to annoy. She is so accustomed to life in the castle, the guards, the excesses and the eccentricities, that the simplest things in others' lives fascinate her. It's pretty easy to impress her. She spends most of the day taking charge of the paperwork that Celestia should be commissioned, she does so with pleasure, so her mother can spend more time with her brothers and with Discord. Although he is unable to play any instrument, she loves to listen to the rest playing them and from time to time, escapes in the night to some concerts in Canterlot. The big city's nightlife is one of her favorite things. Eris has not known anything other than the big city, so lately enjoys so much to visit the little Ponyville.

Currently Eris is dedicated to doing Celestia's paperwork as princess. She used to study hard to become the best princess Equestria has ever seen, but long ago she left it for a future. She got her title as a princess almost a decade ago, but has taken the crown away for some time. The farther the better. From time to time she babysits her brothers so that her parents can spend some time alone, it is not advisable to leave those two daemons with a regular nanny.

Eris was the joy of the castle when she was born and the apple on her parents' eyes. When she was younger she was very attracted to everything related to chaos and her father. Once she was old enough to learn to control her power with chaos, Discord tried to teach her, but her tutelage did not last long. Eris rarely calls him "dad", she prefered to call him "mommy" as a child, and since that gets him out of his chambers, she still does. There are times she calls Discord by his first name. No doubt she's a daddy's girl. Her relationship with her mother has always been quite cold, when she was a little girl, Eris used to call Celestia by her first name, in her teens she called her "mother" and only a few years ago, began calling her "mom". Their relationship is getting closer and closer as time goes. There was one time it had to began from zero.

Eris has always been an only child, but now, at the age of 24, her parents thought it would be a good idea to give her a little baby siblingr. When Discord laid the egg, she became super protective over him, without leaving his side at any time and forcing her mother to do the same. In addition she made sure that Celestia fed the "father in state" until the egg opened. The two twins make their life … interesting … It had been a long time since she had fun as she does with the little ones and many that she used chaos like now. She would literally kill for them.

Almost since she has memory, Flurry Heart has been in her life, it seems Discord hired her as her tutor when she refused to go to school. Flurry taught her everything she could think of: unicorn magic, manners, to being a princess and even mathematics. Lessons with her were always fun and educational and went on to become a big sister and an example to follow for Eris. When Eris began to be interested in chaos, their relationship had a break. Suddenly Flurry seemed to be always in tension near her. So little time passed when they quarreled and since then Eris does not want to hear about her.

Thanks to Flurry, Eris met Ceres, the eldest son of Princess Twilight. When they were younger, Ceres seemed very interested in spending time with her, but without speaking too much. A few years later she would learn that the little unicorn was quite in love with her. To this day, they still maintain a very good relationship, one in which they can be themselves without need of censorship. Heather, his little sister, seems quite interested in her too, rather obsessed with her magic.

Almost a decade ago she met Lucky, the cheeky little son of Pinkie Pie. Their first impression was a quite… uneven … Literally Eris landed at Lucky's feet. The blue unicorn seems very interested in spending time with her and Eris took the opportunity to surprise him by learning sign language to be able to talk freely with him. From time to time she invites all Lucky's friends to the castle. It's always nice to have some scandal at home.
