Nyx, in this scene, shows her special talent. Her cutie mark is similar to her mother's in the sense that she labels herself a dream walker. She, like her mother, can take herself into any pony's dreams however she can travel into the minds of ponies them being wide awake. She can only travel what has been dreamed in the past when doing so. Though she much enjoys to go into her mother's dreams or mind. Her ability is very powerful and would probably concern many ponies, but to those who know her think she's a powerful unicorn.

When her younger cousins visit she usually plays around with them, showing off a few simple magic tricks.

Her favorite place to be in dreams, was her mother's old castle. It was one one of Luna's strongest memories, and Nyx could sense that. If it was Luna's favorite memory, then she would go there and learn more about it to become closer to her mother. It was a beautiful castle, themed after the moon from top to bottom. The colors were blended so well and the tapestry told stories of Luna as a filly. It was perfect. The mare wanted to remake the castle but that was another dream entirely.
