The small filly trotted into her big brother's room and poked her head in — at her mother's request. "Shining Armor!" She called before noticing the colt's muzzle buried into a book. She trotted over to him and noticed the words written on the page, and her interest was peaked.
"Big brother? What'chya reading?" She asked before sitting down and reading over his shoulder. The colt looked over at his younger sister and smiled. "It's a book I got from school. It's about sh-" "Creating shields and how to make them stronger! My teacher told me about this book and she said it was a good book to learn to become a stronger unicorn." The filly smiled proudly at her knowledge as she began to read more and more. The colt couldn't help but see the look on her face as she read the pages over so easily, and even turned the page and continued to read on.
"Hey Twily…what is it mom wanted you to tell me?" He asked, not wanting to interrupt her gaze. "Hm? Oh…something 'bout dinner…" She muttered and continued on reading without a care in the world. Shining Armor couldn't help but chuckle softly and hug her closer to his chest as the two read along, though he had a hard time keeping up with her. He'd frequently hear her say 'hurry up big brother' or 'read faster'.
