So after Fluttershy helped Diamond Tiara to see the more possitive things in Life and move on from her past.
As it turned out, Spoiled Rich (Diamond Tiara's mother) treated her daughter in the way she did because her mother did the same thing to her when she was around DT's age. Spoiled Rich felt deep down that she had to stand up to her mother and teach her a lesson, but she never had the courage to do it when she was young. Then by the time she had the courage to do it, her mother had already passed away of a heart-attack, so she didn't get the chance to stand up to her mother. But Spoiled Rich still had a massive amount of anger and frustration caussed by who she was treated by her mother and she had to unleash it towards something! So she unleashed it towards her own daughter. Caussing her to become the bully that she used to be.

Thankfully, Diamond Tiara was brave enough to stand up to Spoiled Rich and put her in her place. Then after some further discussion with Fluttershy, Filthy Rich and DT, Spoiled was no longer allowed to take care of her daughter. Spoiled realised what she had done and accepted the request, as much as she didn't want to. Deep down she loved her daughter, but she was so blinded by revenge that she wasn't able to show it. Filthy Rich also felt sad over losing his wife, but he knew despite that Spoiled Rich's experiences explained her actions, it definitely doesn't excuse them. So he decided to help his daughter to become the wonderful mare that she always wanted to be, now that she won't be a bully anymore.
