headcannon tempest joins the royal guard due to her fighting prowess and explosive magic capabilities
headcannon special helmet to help her better channel her magic, also maybe she had a day-to-day prosthetic so she can finally start learning spell spells?
Also the jets on her back might be too much but the idea being she could also channel her magic to propel herself skyward for a time
