For my birthday I got some brush markers and this is the first image I made with them. I really enjoydrawing with them and I love the options for shading and other effects they offer. However, they come with the drawback that they need special (and expensive) paper to work with. Normal paper sucks up the ink of these markers too much so it feels like drawing with ink on blotting paper. Unfortunately the special paper too sucks… as in literally sucking up the ink and making it spread out where you don't want it to be. Strangely enough this seems to be a problem with some but not all colors. If anyone has experience with brush marker pens and how to avoid their ink getting sucked up and spread out by the paper on the paper, I would appreciate any helpful advise.
AJ got a bit of a special look at that apple which made me think of her going "my precious" on it
