Personality/Background:
Misty is the illegitimate child of Trixie Lulamoon and Prince Blueblood. She was the result of a short affair, and despite having royal blood, she has no formal title. Blueblood has no idea that he has children with Trixie because he broke up with her before they knew that she was pregnant. Misty does not know who her father is, because Trixie refuses to tell her kids. However, she is intent on finding out one day.

Misty is a serious, organized individual. Her ambition to become the captain of the guard keeps her on her hooves. She is very focused on this goal. However, when Misty isn’t at work, she is less strict and enjoys socializing with her fellow guards. In fact, she often goes out to the bars and loves a good night out.

For a time, Misty performed in her mom’s magic shows alongside her twin brother, Angel Dove. She used her illusion magic to add flair to the show. However, Misty never got into it like her mother and brother. She found it to be boring and waste of her skills. One day, while Flash Sentry and Twilight are watching one of Trixie’s shows, Flash notices Misty’s abilities and encourages her to consider joining his guard training camp. Misty joined and instantly knew that that was her destiny. Once she completed her training, she was transferred to The Crystal Empire and works full time as Princess Flurry Heart’s guard.


Relationships:
Misty has a decent relationship with her mother. Trixie does tend to be a bit too flashy for her, but she loves her regardless. When Misty joined Guard Training Camp, Trixie was sad to see her go, but she was proud of her daughter. Despite being in The Crystal Empire, Misty stays in contact with her mom via letters.

Misty’s brother, Angel Dove, is rather similar to their mother in that he is flamboyant and a bit vain. The two argue quite a bit, as Angel tends to be sloppy whereas Misty is very neat. He leaves his stage costumes all over the place, and it pisses her off. Angel Dove loves being in Trixie’s magic shows and doesn’t understand Misty’s desire to join the guards. He believes that it sounds like too much hard work. This annoys Misty to no end.

Misty’s relationship is Starswirl is an interesting one. They met in school as kids and didn’t like each other at all. Starswirl was rather arrogant and cared more about magic than anything else. Misty was convinced that Starswirl thought that he was better than her. As the years went by, Misty ended up in Guard Training Camp with Starswirl’s dad, Flash Sentry. Flash gave Misty a lot of attention, and this made Starswirl rather jealous. Starswirl was happy when Misty was transferred to The Crystal Empire. However, he has no idea that she’s about to be thrown back into his life…
