This render was previewed 2 days early for my patrons on Patreon! You don't have to feel obliged to join my Patreon, as I plan to make everything I do public at some point, but any bit of help I receive will be put towards upgrading my hardware that I use to create these renders, and if I get more help I could start taking steps into making this my job (and will release my models to the general public if I make it to $300 per month, and I'm already half way there!):

WATERMARKLESS VERSION HERE

Title means two things. I'm currently playing with clouds in Blender by filling meshes with volumetrics and such. But it also means Pinkie's also playing with the Clouds… Or I guess IN the clouds. Close enough. Might as well try to get used to working with clouds as they are pretty relevant in MLP for Pegasi, whenever I get to modeling wings that is.
Before this went public I decided to try to improve the clouds a bit more as I wasn't entirely happy with it. In fact, if you want to see how this evolved, here are some early WIPs that slowly progress to what I have now:
slowly progress to what I have now:
Version 1
Version 2
Version 3
Version 4
Version 5 (This is what Patrons saw early)
Version 6
Version 7
Version 8
And Version 9 is where we're at now. And it took 19 hours to render at 4K with 1024 samples. Shoutouts to clouds. It took way longer than I anticipated, but oh well. Thankfully denoising is a thing, otherwise I would've had to render at least 4x as much samples to get it to look somewhat clean in the end.
