Its a pity that anything like this is still a good 2-3 decades (or more) away IRL. I would probably do it simply for the curiosity factor alone, though wonder how long it would take to really hate not having hands. Being a Pegasus (even without any MLP weather magic, just flight) might be a fair trade off though. I guess we would actually see cyborg ponies first, probably a bit easier than full body reconstruction on the nano level.

As for the art, I did the tank as a bit of an afterthought so yes the reflections are no where what they should be while looking at a round glass tank filled with fluids.
