Why her? Of all the Wonderbolts that I had to be paired up with, it had to be her, Stormbolt groaned inwardly. Why couldn't Spitfire pair me up with Lightning Spark or Swiftwing? They would make way better wing-ponies.

"Yo! Stormbolt!" Solar Ray chimed, bonking him on the head with her hoof and knocking him from his thoughts.

Stormbolt lowered his head and snorted, "What, Solar Ray?"

"Ya listenin' to me, knucklehead?" Solar Ray asked, shoving her face into Stormbolt's muzzle. "I was just talkin' bout how I saved Soarin from a massive tornado, yeah!"

Kill me. Stormbolt rolled his eyes and attempted to drown out Solar's rambling about how amazing she was. It was going to be a long afternoon, that was certain.

Solar Ray contributes a great deal to the Wonderbolts, performing spectacular tricks and flight maneuvers, which brings a large audience to every show. Needless to say, Stormbolt doesn't like her.
