Smash was simply minding his own business and trying to live life like a normal pony, after his and Twilight's visit in the Crystal Empire. When an all-too familiar voice suddenly spoke to him.

Discord: Ohohohoho! Long time no see, Smash.
Smash: Discord? What are you doing here?
Discord: appears in front of him I've come to bargain.
Smash: But I thought that you exhiled yourself because of what happened with Fluttershy all that time ago.
Discord: Yes, I did. But after thinking throught my mistakes and talking to various people on an Internet-forum named after me. I came up with this fantastic idea that would benefit not just the two of us, but also Fluttershy.
Smash: Which is…?
Discord: That is why I am here, allow me to show you my suggestion. opens a crack through reality Please take a look.
Smash: Looks through the crack and notices younger versions of himself and Fluttershy along with their mothers meeting in the Everfree Forest Huh?

Cherry: Come on Smash, don't be shy. Talk to her.

Smash: Yeah… which over time lead to the "Free Equestria-movement" that wants to destroy a patriarchy hat doesn't exist.
Discord: Well, in this alternate past. Your mother didn't blame you for your fathers behavior, for simply being an earth pony. Instead she took you in and raised with all the love a mother would give to her son. Which would in turn would make you a different person all together.
Smash: Yeah… I am sure of it. I would never had become as bitter or nearly as violent. But what would happen to Fluttershy?
Discord: She would obviously have a slightly better life, with a colt-friend, a less pathetic younger brother and most importantly, no need to worry about an organization that are going after and destroying everything that even dares to make her feel upset. Which would mean that Dark Seizure wouldn't become as psychopathic and wouldn't get to have his wings being cut of due to an uncurable disease. Like I have said earlier, this would be benefit everypony!
Smash: Looks through the crack and sees how his and Fluttershy's younger selves give each other a hug and their mothers watching them with glee. Then he turns back to Discord. Is Fluttershy okay with this?
Discord: Of course she would be, she will be growing up to become the happiest mare around. And on top of that, she would have a dedicated husband that hasn't slept with six other mares and turned them into mothers. Cleans throat All you have to do Smash, is to enter that crack and this will be the new reality. So what do you say?
