… some things will be gone, but others will never change.

Hi guys !

May I present you proudly my absolute masterpiece so far !!!

This is my entry for the upcoming Luna Day on Equestria Daily. I always wonder how Luna feels after gone for a millennium. Her home was gone and maybe some friends to. But I bet she had some favourite spots within the forest to wander around.

This picture took a really long time. I began somewhere in 2016 to draw Luna. But in that period I changes from pixel to vector art, so I recreated Luna with Inkscape. After that I created the castle, it was tough to get an inspiration for that. Luckily I found one

Then I created the forest. I tried to catch the style of the original show. But organic structures like bushes were something new for me. The pathway and the whole perspective drove me crazy. After some breaks (like NATG) and some small projects, I put the parts together and done the whole finalization.

What can I say … I am a little proud of it, when I see what my Luna Day piece of 2015 looks like

It was a long and hard way of practising until now and it's not at the end yet.
Maybe the castle looks too good after 1000 years of crumble or the perspective/shadows aren't accurate, but there is always room for improvements.

I hope you enjoy it …

Until then and don't let Christmas stress you out.
