I finally decided to create Honami's parents after realizing that NOT having parents was weird and technically impossible even in the magical world of ponies!
See? Character and personal development C:

Lemme tell ya though.. Drawing ponies anymore is tough— as you can probably tell I struggled a lot :/ I'm out of practice I guess? Shrug
But here's the little story on these guys..

Daddy Honami:
Before Kyohei was even in existence and the queen was deciding who should be her new baby's father, this unnamed stallion and powerful war leader was her top choice. But this pegasus refused and publicly embarrassed the queen and so he was kicked out of the military for good as punishment! He decided to choose the word "retired" as "kicked out" ruined his huge ego. But when Kyohei was born and the queen wanted a replacement heir, the "underground scientists" chose this stallion's great pegasus DNA to create the 'perfect alicorn'. Afterwards he lived the rest of his life poor, unemployed, and sad. What lost potential. :c

Mommy Honami:
Mommy Honami is an aristocratic, regal unicorn with powerful unicorn bloodlines. She was always very intelligent and modest and when the opportunity came to work under the queen as an "underground scientist", she gladly accepted. She quickly became a powerful and influential leader within the "underground world" yet she is more humane and kind than the psychotic scientists. Because of her unicorn genes she was chosen to create the 'perfect alicorn' and would've been a great mother for Honami, but motherhood doesn't exist in the "underground world". (she never gave birth to her nor could she claim her as her daughter) Oh and she loves cardigans.

Keep in mind that Honami's parents never were in her life nor had they affected her life. Call them "sperm donors" or something of the sort if you will. Their DNA was merely used to create an offspring (through magic of course, NOT the natural way!)
