Just me being nerdy and messing with outdated color palettes. I tried to make something that would closely resemble what this image would look like best on ancient computers

I chose this palette so the default colors (bright red, yellow, and bright green) and the dark blue color would work together to dither into the proper colors. The dark blue works to provide the darker tones while working with red to produce a purple color. With yellow and red that serves to create the gold color. The green color's main purpose is to provide a contrasting background color, but also helped out inside the eyes a bit.

Of course, if I was actually developing something at the this hardware was new, I'd probably choose colors that would either fit in the low res but higher color palettes (80x50 or 160x100) or choose colors that would fit more closely in the different Mode 4 CGA color modes.

After a bit of thinking to myself, I felt it would look just a bit nicer if I had all the same color outlines and that actually helps the image a bit better. Still though, it would probably be a much better choice to stick with the colors that were provided with the palettes rather than trying to dither them, especially for lower resolutions.

Now, the temptation to mess with VGA 256 color mode is coming to me…..
