Well, Christmas may be over, but that doesn't mean the good tidings are. And as they snuggle together by a warm fire while winter rages on outside, our glorious rulers know that well.

It took a long time for the so-called "Princess of the Night" to be able to actually stay up later than her diurnal sister, something Celestia would tease her about for years. That's what actually bright on the Nightmare Moon fiasco, when Luna got fed up with it one day. Don't tell anyone though, it's way less of a good story.

I want those slippers. And that blanket. And basically everything in this scene, actually.
