I like to think that casting spells is like some kind of art. In my headcanon every unicorn have different way to casting spells. Willows way is "whispering". Her magic turns into words and you can feel the gentle tickling on the back of your neck, when she's near.
So… every time when you feel like someone is watching you… maybe that's her?
