Sombra x Zecora is my OTP.
I haven't drawn it enough but I'm putting a stop to that nonsense.

In the Roseverse, an MLP alternate universe Sombra was expelled from the Crystal Empire by the Crystal Heart but was found alive and without magic just outside of the city's limit and was arrested.
He was set to spend many decades in prison until Starlight Glimmer and Discord founded a sort of rehabilitation program for past tyrants like Tirek and other less savoury types.
Since Sombra was feared neightion [HA] wide he was sent to live in the Everfree forest out of sight until the Queens felt it was best for a reintroduction to Equestria [via the annual Royal Summit]
Zecora played a role too as a form of probations officer and he had to check in with her every week for tea.

Sombra didn't think much of the Zebra at first but on one fateful day Zecora's little filly Malaika arrived home early from her aunt Fluttershy's house and Sombra realized Zecora was a single mom.

His mother passed away when he was a wee bab and he was left in the care of her employers [she was a maid], a horrible Crystal Pony family. He felt a lot of compassion for Zecora at that point.


Then there was eventually romance and a foal on the way
