How tall are you in comparison to your parents?

Answer:

Nessa Mae is very tall when compared to her parents! Well, Fluttershy that is. Though, her mother is the smallest out of the Main Six group, so she seems to be drastically larger than most ponies, when in reality, most normal sized ponies meet her a little above her back!

Her height makes her quite intimidating to most ponies, which she likes of course, and few often approach her. Maybe if she’d smile every once in a while instead of scowling at everyone and wearing her black band shirts she’d have a bigger pool of friends.

Nessa’s size has been a problem since birth, while Fluttershy and Iron Will were expecting a larger than normal foal, they never expected to give birth to a Centaur like their daughter. Because of this abnormal foaling, Fluttershy came within seconds of losing her life due to blood loss during the procedure, lucky to be saved due to Nurse Redheart’s quick thinking and skillful hooves. But because of this, Fluttershy has since become quite frail and sickly, and occasionally has to take breaks from everyday life to recover.
