This is Cloudy Bits, a pegasus specialized in developing advanced cloud storage technology.

Cloudy got her cutie mark after her friend Skyline returned from summer camp on the ground. He had found a rock that totally looked like the famous Wonderbolt Fire Streak. (That's what he claimed, at least.) Unfortunately he had forgotten to get it cloud-proofed and so it kept falling through his Wonderbolt shelf and halfway through the floor. Using some spare snow and storm clouds, Cloudy Bits was able to make the cloud shelf strong enough to carry the rock and earned her cutie mark.

Nowadays, Cloudy works as a cloud engineer at PegaCloud R&D in Cloudsdale. PegaCloud is the leading manufacturer of specialized and enhanced clouds for construction, furniture and many other purposes. Their engineers' main task is to find new methods to make clouds more durable and able to carry more weight.
As a side project, Cloudy is developing new cloud storage systems. While being used by pegasi for ages, there's still a lack of easily accessible cloud-based storage solutions for non-pegasi. Earth ponies in particular, with their lack of both natural and magical cloud shaping, barely can use most current cloud storage systems. It's Cloudy's dream to finally solve this problem.

One of her latest innovations is the "Dropping Box". Retrieving items from a cloud already works pretty well, but she just can’t figure out an easy way for earth ponies to get items and the box actually (back) into the cloud…
