Butterfly Effect is the daughter of Night Light and Posey Poem.
There was always something special about her since she was a young filly. It came as a shock when she came out a pegasus considering the strong unicorn genetics that runs in her family; but they loved her all the same. It wasn't until she started experiencing strong headaches and random bursts of teleportation and such that they found that her unicorn genetics were actually much stronger than they had realized. She went on to learn and control her abilities under the princess herself; even becoming her student amongst an all unicorn school.
She is the Element of Magic and fills in Twilight's role in this AU.

(I was trying to decide on whether she loses the glasses or not after she becomes an alicorn since I imagine that after becoming one; her sight is much clearer than before. I decided that'd she'd probably have a similar case to Connie from SU and pops the lenses out of them or something similar.)
