Background/Personality:

Lunar Luck is the first child of Rumble and Scootaloo, and the only daughter to Scootlaoo. Scootaloo claims that Lunar entered this world to be a lucky charm: the little purple pegasus brought joy to her mother who battled depression, of which returned after the orange pegasus learned that Lunar's father, Rumble, supposedly cheated on her with another mare. Because of the hurt Scootaloo felt, Luna does not know her father, something Scootaloo wishes to keep secret until her daughter is older. Since her birth, Luna seemed to have luck follow her around everywhere: whether the little filly got an extra scoop of ice cream or did not get hurt after a nasty tumble, Luna has luck on her side. Luck even gave the pegasus her cutie mark at a young age. Since Scootaloo is unable to fly, Luna decided to teach herself to fly by jumping off of high places and flapping her wings. One day, Luna snuck off after school to climb the nearby cliffs to practice flying. By the time she reached the edge of the cliff and saw the plummeting height, Luna came to her sense and turned around; however, somehow the pegasus slipped and fell off the cliff edge. In a panic Luna began flapping her wings, and after a few flaps the filly was soaring instead of falling. A cutie mark soon followed because once again luck was on the filly's side. Scootaloo was ecstatic that her daughter was safe, gained her cutie mark, and did not inherit her own flying paralysis. Luna does not know what her future will bring: however, the filly does know that no matter what, luck will be her faithful companion.

Like her mother, Luna is somewhat of a daredevil, often acting before thinking, especially if challenged. From flying high to running races, Luna never seems to sit still which brings about plans that even with her luck do not always end well. Surprisingly, Luna is also a shy filly, however mostly around strangers. Among her friends, Luna is both the most energetic and most compassionate, with just a dash of luck for good measure.

Relationships:

Luna does not know her father, and so sees her mother Scootaloo as the ultimate parent. Luna is not afraid to share everything with her mother from stories of adventure to feelings about other ponies.

Although she does not know at the moment, Luna does have a biological sibling from Rumble, her father. Luna will not meet this sibling or her father for quite a few years.

With Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash being practically sisters, the children of these two pegasi see each other as at least cousins, if not siblings. Feather Dart, the eldest son of Rainbow Dash, babysits Luna alongside his sister Storm Streak and sometimes her friend Razzbleberry Pie.

Luna sees the CMC children Marble Chord and Terra Taps, as well as Johari and Peony Pear, fellow classmates, as her closest friends.

Special:
- Lunar Luck's cutie mark is a horseshoe with a crescent moon and surrounding wings. The mark symbolizes Lunar's talent in luck. Lunar acquired the mark after learning to fly just in time after falling from a cliff.
- Like her Aunt Rainbow Dash and her cousin Storm Streak, Luna loves Daring Doo books.
- With her father being Rumble, Luna is technically a cousin to Marble Chord and Rarity's children, Azure Glitter and Moonstone Voice; however, none of the fillies nor the adult ponies know of this relation except for Scootaloo who refuses to name her daughter's father.
- Luna dislikes rodents and refuses to go anywhere near them.
- Luna is allergic to bee stings.
