Personality — Sugar Plum is a very calm and sensible young mare, though she can be a little inappropriate at times (especially when she is in the company of her twin). She tries to be as level-headed as she can whenever necessary and always tries to consider logical reasoning for her actions. Despite her thin phisique, Sugar Plum enjoys difficult manual labor with her father on the apple orchard. She is also quite the night owl and often finds herself staying up later than she should in the night (and in some cases, into the morning). Though she is considered a princess, she doesn't really care for the title as she feels that it separates her from the rest of society.

Backstory — As a diligent hard-worker, Sugar Plum was always wondering when she would receive her cutie mark. She always excelled in academics and her mother's royal lessons, and was always willing to assist her father on the farm, but was never able to find her true talent in either of these environments. Though she had a liking for all of these things, along with many other hobbies, she found herself having considerable trouble figuring out what truly defined her. It wasn't until she went with a group of fillies to go camping that she was able to discover her talent: before the night was over, Sugar Plum soothed all of the fillies restless eyes in the midst of the overbearing darkness with a lullaby that allowed them to sleep peacefully into the night. Once she received her cutie mark, Sugar Plum realized that her talent didn't necessarily have to be something that you had to make a profession out of or even base your future off of, but rather, something that defined you and separated you from the rest. Sugar Plum takes pride in her talent, regardless of its simplicity, as it sets her apart from the rest of the world.

Parents — Sugar Plum has a very loving relationship with her parents, though she seeks to please them in unnecessary ways. She feels the need to prove herself worthy of their affection as she is so lucky to be the child of such wonderful parents. Though both of her parents take pride in her achievements, they love her unconditionally regardless of what she is capable of.
